A recognised work domain
You need a company-domain email associated with a Claude Partner Network organisation - not a personal email address.
Professional Claude use
Associate is for professionals and knowledge workers using Claude in their work. It is not a developer-first exam.
$99 per attempt
Paid directly to Anthropic. It is separate from Hydralogic Academy access and preparation services.

Check your eligibility
Confirm that your organisation is in the Claude Partner Network and that its company email domain is recognised. Certification registration currently requires a company-domain email; personal email addresses cannot be used.
- Step 2
Access Anthropic Partner Academy
Open the Associate certification page in Partner Academy. If your employer already has a partner record, start there. Otherwise, your organisation can join the network before you register.

Read the current exam guide
Review the domains and skills tested before planning your study time. The live Anthropic guide is the source of truth for objectives, availability, and policy changes.
- Step 4
Prepare with realistic work
Practise using Claude on professional tasks, evaluating outputs, working with workflows and knowledge sources, and applying responsible-AI judgement - not only recalling terminology.
- Step 5
Register and pay the exam fee
Register for the exam through the official process and pay the applicable fee. The CCAO-F fee is set and collected by Anthropic, separately from anything you buy from Hydralogic.
- Step 6
Schedule with Pearson
Choose online proctoring or a Pearson test centre, then select an available appointment. Complete the required system check in advance if you choose the online option.
- Step 7
Take the closed-book exam
Follow the testing and check-in requirements for your selected delivery method. Notes, documentation, AI assistants, and browser translation tools are not permitted during the exam.
- Step 8
Claim your credential after passing
After a passing result, you receive an invitation from Credly to claim your digital badge. The certification is issued by Anthropic and is currently valid for 12 months.
